Michelle Kotzer joined The Law Firm of Fish & Associates in 2015.  Michelle’s practice focuses on wills and estates. Michelle assists clients with the preparation of wills and powers of attorney.

Prior to joining Fish & Associates, Michelle practiced in the Wills and Estates group at a mid-sized Toronto law firm where she gained valuable experience in drafting wills, powers of attorney and the administration of estates.

Michelle summered and articled at two highly respected estate litigation law firms located in downtown Toronto.  Michelle gained experience in various areas of estate litigation including Will Challenges, Dependant’s Support claims, Trustee/Executor disputes and Guardianship applications.

Michelle received her Bachelor of Arts from Western University in 2010 where she studied Criminology and Anthropology. She graduated from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law in 2013. During law school, Michelle was actively involved in Community Legal Aid. Michelle was also trained as a mediator at the law school’s mediation clinic, where she mediated a wide range of disputes. During law school, Michelle was an editor of the University’s law journal entitled the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues.

In 2016, Michelle received the Osgoode Certificate in Elder Law from Osgoode Hall Law School.
